Energy and power grid data have accumulated for decades. They are valuable and contribute to, e.g., energy digitalization, market forecasting, power flow analysis, demand response, etc. There are strong data pipe-lines at DSOs and energy companies, powerful forecasting engines, real-time energy alarms, and more. Is that enough? Maybe not.
Data is good, but not all the data means readily useable information for programming, simulation, and experimentation.
This website is about my recent research on power grid digitalization, open data, and AI. I demonstrate how to curate from small to large-scale energy datasets from open sources, how the data can be leveraged, and openly release the data, code, libraries, and APIs for research, development, and business.
In this website, Download provides the datasets I have curated with open access and directly downloadable. Github lists the code, software libraries, and APIs I have developed. Visualization links interactive maps I have created for our datasets. For each of the three, I also associate them with the published scientific outcomes when applicable.
Below are my recent research demonstrations
